You’ll be looking at options for coolant-work.
Our first option involves manually draining the coolant system in your Volkswagen Jetta through the disconnection of certain pipes. This will allow the existing coolant to be drained out. From there, the coolant will be topped up and the cooling system bled as best as we can; There might be some air pockets left in the cooling system for this process but it will eventually be bled out through normal daily usage. This may result in the dropping of the coolant level and the low coolant alarm may sound. This is expected and all that’s required, is to top the bottle with coolant. Read more here
Our second and more complete option requires the involvement of our Coolant Clean machine from MotorVac. It offers an extremely high percentage of coolant evacuation / change. The machine connects up to your Jetta engine and behaves like a dialysis machine. This ensures a near 100% change rate as compared to the standard coolant drain method. A radiator conditioner is also included in this service to flush out contaminants which will affect the cooling systems’ efficiency. Read more here
Both options will take about an hour to complete.
Let us know if you would like these services conducted for you
The changing of the coolant pump typically comes complete with the coolant pump, belts, tensioners and most importantly the coolant. Depending on the car, you may find yourself spending anywhere between $700 to $1,300.
You might also be looking at spending in the range of $700 for the Oil Servicing, Spark Plugs & Coil Packs.
All components used are original and a 1 week warranty is provided to set your mind at ease
It should be about 600ish for the oil servicing, spark plugs and coil packs.
The jobs will take a day to complete.
Thank you for informing us. This helps us greatly with our scheduling and planning for the hours ahead till the end of day.
We appreciate your own schedule and will make the necessary arrangements to assist you in keeping your daily schedule smooth but please do understand that we may not be able to adjust; In such situations, we may be looking at rescheduling to a later time in the day OR another day if time doesn’t permit.
Thank you again!
Glad you asked because there AREN’T ANY.
At Syncrowerkz, our prices quoted are final, NETT and no more to pay. This ensures that you, as a paymaster, will have nothing to worry about and that we mean what we say.
With advancing technology, extended oil changes are possible. This is achievable with VW approved long-life oils. The cost of the extended/long-life oil is easily double the amount of a standard oil change.
- It is entirely up to you for an oil change BUT synthetic oils rated under VW 502/505 will last 8,000kms. The upper end of this range is of course 15,000kms but take into account
- environment of Singapore,
- quality of petrol (petrol when combusted does contaminate your engine oil),
- quality of air
- traffic conditions (creating heat which also affects engine oil)
and you’ll soon want to change your engine oil sooner rather than later.
At Syncrowerkz, we recommend the following oil servicing schedules
- Audi: 5,000kms – 7,500kms
- Volkswagen: 7,500kms
- Porsche: Manual recommended
- Lexus: 10,000kms
- Honda: 10,000kms
Yes! Our prices are quoted as NETT, no more to pay and definitely no more to do. We dislike having to pay more than what we agreed on, so we don’t expect to do it to you, our beloved customer.
We don’t accept Credit Cards at the moment but we do accept NETS & Cash terms for all work done at Syncrowerkz.
We do however accept cheques but that is subject to approval.
NETS transactions can go up to $2,000 so part payment in NETS & Cash is accepted.
Of course the solutions can be split. However, it is recommended that you do that only for items that are unrelated. This is to save cost on your end.
Do drop by for a quick chat and check and we’ll discuss how best to proceed. No obligations!
Please refer to our Major Servicing listing for 60K on this list. You’ll also be able to find out more about the required 30K, 60K servicing items.
Hope that helps.
Engine oil leaks typically surface from mating surfaces – The areas which join different components together, like lego blocks.
These surfaces usually are joined by rubber or metal seals. There are usually 5-6 different surfaces where oil can leak from. Each surface leak will require different amounts of time, materials and work.
Depending on the severity and visibility of the leak, we’ll advise that you bring your vehicle in for an initial clean & assessment and then return in a few days to determine where this leak might originate from.
As such you might expect to pop by at least once before we can accurately determine the source of the leak and offer a remedy.
APR’s ECU upgrades are available in octane-specific variations and is conveniently flashed to the vehicle’s factory ECU through the OBD-II port without any physical modification to the factory ECU.
Your cars’ engine management system is responsible for proper operation of the engine during constantly changing environmental and load conditions. With built in compensational data for environmental variables and varying load conditions, the factory ECU is far more complex and intelligent than units found in other vehicle makes and marques.
APR’s Calibration Engineers spend months calibrating the engine management system, including many hours of chassis dyno development. With a thorough understanding of the ECU’s torque structure, APR’s Calibration Engineers properly increased engine load to produce more power and torque across the entire power band. APR’s ECU Upgrade increases boost pressure, optimizes ignition timing, cam timing, lambda and more to produce higher output!
APR’s ECU Upgrades provides an excellent leap in horsepower and torque while retaining OEM knock control sensitivity and other built in safety features. This results in an exciting and powerful upgrade, optimized for various fuel grades found around the world.
Yes, APR has a DSG tune just for your DQ250 gearbox!
APR is pleased to present the ultimate transmission control unit (TCU) upgrade for the DQ250 Exx & Fxx DSG and S tronic transmissions! APR’s TCU upgrade is available in engine and power level specific variations and is conveniently flashed to the vehicle’s factory TCU through the OBD-II port. APR’s DirectPort Programming Suite allows the end user to customize the TCU upgrade to their individual needs.
APR’s TCU upgrade enhances the driving experience by incorporating many of the same features typically reserved for high-end Audi Quattro GmbH RS models. Under blistering, wide-open throttle acceleration, the transmission shifts even more quickly than before with a higher rev limit. However, during normal, day-to-day driving, the TCU Upgrade delivers a smooth, yet responsive and refined driving experience.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
All APR TCU Upgrades include a limited lifetime warranty against defects in the software, and to provide free updates and reflashes as they become available. Labor or shipping charges are not included in the warranty and are at the discretion of the place of install.
Hi! No you don’t need to purchase any hardware for APR Stage 1 as the tune safely maximises the capabilities of the existing factory hardware. This ensures that your vehicle does not require any modifications that may catch the eye of the local law enforcement but still get the gains that are present in your marques’ higher end vehicles.
APR’s ECU upgrades are one of the best horsepower-per-dollar modifications for your engine. The APR Stage I ECU Upgrade is designed to work without requiring other changes to the vehicle’s hardware. With the ECU Upgrade alone, APR’s Calibration Experts measured higher peak figures of torque and horsepower. Large gains were seen throughout the power band, including additional torque and horsepower. Even higher figures were achieved using race fuel.
Of course, when you’re looking at adding additional APR hardware. The APR Stage II software takes performance even further!
